Moog Taurus 2

Description

Moog Taurus 2 is a classic analog synthesizer from the late 1970s. It was designed by Robert Moog and released by Moog Music in 1978. It is a monophonic bass synthesizer with two oscillators, two envelope generators, and a low-pass filter. It is known for its thick, warm sound and has been used by many famous musicians, including Stevie Wonder, Kraftwerk, and Depeche Mode.

The Moog Taurus 2 works by generating sound waves using two oscillators. These sound waves are then shaped by the two envelope generators and the low-pass filter. The envelope generators control the attack, decay, sustain, and release of the sound. The low-pass filter allows the user to shape the sound by controlling the frequency range of the sound. The Moog Taurus 2 also features a modulation wheel, which allows the user to add vibrato and other effects to the sound. Additionally, the Taurus 2 has a built-in arpeggiator, which allows the user to create complex patterns with the sound.
