Ensoniq Performance Sampler (EPS) is an early 13-bit sampler manufactured between 1988 and 1991. It has two processors, capable of playing 8 instruments simultaneously. Basic model includes 256 Kwords of memory on board, extensible with a 512 Kword or 1024 Kword expansion. Also includes a SCSI connector, 22-character display, integrated floppy drive and MIDI. Followed by EPS 16+ and eventually the ASR-10.
