Sequential Circuits Prophet 600

Description

The Sequential Circuits Prophet 600 is a vintage analog synthesizer released in 1982. It was the first affordable polyphonic synthesizer and was used by many famous musicians, including Depeche Mode, New Order, and The Cure.

The Prophet 600 is a subtractive synthesizer, meaning it uses oscillators to generate sound and then filters to shape the sound. It has two oscillators, two envelopes, and two low-pass filters. It also has a built-in arpeggiator and a 16-step sequencer. The Prophet 600 also has a unique feature called the "Poly Mod" which allows for modulation of the oscillators and filters. This allows for a wide range of sounds and textures.
