Studio Electronics SE88 Filter

Description

The Studio Electronics SE88 Filter is a multi-mode filter designed for use in synthesizers and other electronic music instruments. It is a 24dB/octave low-pass filter with a resonance control and a wide range of filter modes. It has been used by many artists, including Aphex Twin, Nine Inch Nails, and The Prodigy.

The SE88 Filter works by allowing the user to shape the sound of their instrument by controlling the frequency range of the sound. It has a range of filter modes, including low-pass, band-pass, high-pass, and notch, as well as a resonance control to add emphasis to the sound. It also has a built-in envelope follower, which allows the filter to respond to the dynamics of the sound. Additionally, it has a CV input, allowing it to be controlled by external sources.
