Sequential Circuits

Sequential Circuits was a synthesizer company founded in California in the early 1970s by Dave Smith. It was later sold to Yamaha Corporation in 1987. Sequential Circuits pioneered many technologies and design principles that have become the foundation of modern music technology. It was also pivotal in the design of the MIDI standard.
