Yamaha DX7IIFD

Description

The Yamaha DX7IIFD is a digital synthesizer released by Yamaha in 1987. It is a six-operator FM (Frequency Modulation) synthesizer, and is the successor to the original DX7. It was used by a variety of artists, including Michael Jackson, Depeche Mode, and Herbie Hancock.

The DX7IIFD works by using a series of operators to generate sound. Each operator is a sine wave oscillator, and the user can adjust the frequency, amplitude, and envelope of each operator. The user can then combine these operators to create complex sounds. The DX7IIFD also features a built-in 16-bit digital effects processor, allowing for further sound manipulation. Additionally, the DX7IIFD has a built-in MIDI interface, allowing it to be connected to other MIDI-compatible devices.
