Yamaha PSS-16

Description

Yamaha PSS-16 is a portable synthesizer released by Yamaha in 1983. It was used by many popular musicians, including Depeche Mode, The Cure, and New Order. The PSS-16 is a monophonic synthesizer with a built-in sequencer and a variety of sound-shaping features. It has two oscillators, a low-pass filter, an envelope generator, and a noise generator. It also has a built-in arpeggiator and a chord memory function. The PSS-16 is capable of producing a wide range of sounds, from classic analog synth tones to more modern digital sounds.
