The Yamaha KX88 is a MIDI controller keyboard released by Yamaha in 1984. It is a full-sized 88-key keyboard with velocity-sensitive keys and aftertouch. It has a built-in MIDI interface, allowing it to be connected to a computer or other MIDI devices. It also has a number of assignable knobs and sliders, allowing for real-time control of MIDI parameters. It has been used by a number of professional musicians, including Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, and John McLaughlin.
