Roland Jupiter-4 JP-4

Description

The Roland Jupiter-4 JP-4 is a polyphonic analog synthesizer released by Roland in 1978. It was the first of the Jupiter series of synthesizers and was used by many famous musicians, including Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, and Gary Numan.

The Jupiter-4 is a four-voice polyphonic synthesizer with two oscillators per voice. It has a 24 dB/octave low-pass filter, an ADSR envelope generator, and a noise generator. It also has a built-in chorus effect and a portamento feature. The JP-4 also has a built-in arpeggiator and a polyphonic portamento feature. It has a wide range of sounds, from classic analog bass and lead sounds to more modern digital sounds.
