The Roland SDD-320 Dimension D is a classic analog chorus/echo effect unit from the 1980s. It was used by many famous artists, including David Gilmour, Brian Eno, and U2. The Dimension D works by splitting the incoming signal into two paths, one of which is delayed slightly. This creates a chorus effect, as the delayed signal is slightly out of phase with the original. The Dimension D also has a built-in echo effect, which can be used to create a more spacious sound. The unit has four knobs for controlling the chorus and echo effects, as well as a switch for selecting between four different chorus modes.
