Roland System 700 Synthesizer

The Roland System 700 Synthesizer is a modular analog synthesizer released by Roland in 1975. It was used by a variety of artists, including Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk, and Jean-Michel Jarre.

The System 700 is a semi-modular synthesizer, meaning that it has a number of pre-wired connections between its various components, but also allows for patching of additional connections. It features two voltage-controlled oscillators, two voltage-controlled filters, two voltage-controlled amplifiers, two envelope generators, and a noise generator. It also has a number of modulation sources, including an LFO, a sample-and-hold, and a ring modulator. The System 700 also features a number of effects, including a chorus, a phaser, and a delay.
